Theme settings

Every global setting, grouped as it appears in the theme editor. These apply across the whole storefront; section settings override them locally where it makes sense.

Brand

`logo_inverse`	Logo for dark backgrounds	Used when the header sits over an image.
`logo_width`	Logo width
`favicon`	Favicon	Shown in browser tabs. Use a square image, at least 96 x 96 px.
`share_image`	Social sharing image	Used when a page has no image of its own. 1200 x 630 px works well.

Demo content

Setting	Label	What it does
`show_demo_content`	Also show demo products on the live storefront	Demo products always appear in the theme editor so you can preview a section before assigning a collection. Leave this off so shoppers never see them.

Typography

`display_scale`	Display size
`display_tracking`	Letter spacing	Measured in thousandths of an em, so the spacing scales with the type size.
`display_case`	Letter case
`font_body`	Body font
`body_scale`	Body size
`utility_case`	Letter case	Applies to small labels such as menu items, badges and captions.
`utility_tracking`	Letter spacing	Measured in thousandths of an em, so the spacing scales with the type size.

`spacing_preset`	Space between sections	Applies across the storefront. Individual sections can still be adjusted.

`card_density`	Card density	Gallery is image-led, catalogue is the balanced default, compact is a dense list.
`card_media_ratio`	Image shape
`card_media_fit`	Image fit
`card_hover_media`	Show second image on hover
`card_show_vendor`	Show vendor
`card_show_swatches`	Show colour swatches	Uses the swatch values set up in your product options.
`card_show_rating`	Show rating	Requires a review app that writes to the product rating metafield.
`card_quick_add`	Quick add
`badge_position`	Badge position
`badge_sale`	Show sale badge
`badge_sale_percent`	Show percentage saved
`badge_sold_out`	Show sold out badge
`badge_new_days`	Mark as new for (days)	Set to 0 to turn the new badge off. Based on the date a product was published.

Cart

`cart_show_note`	Allow order notes
`cart_show_recommendations`	Show suggested products	Uses Shopify's product recommendations. Set up complementary products in Search & Discovery for better suggestions.
`cart_free_shipping_bar`	Show free shipping progress	Only turn this on if you actually offer free shipping at a threshold.
`cart_free_shipping_threshold`	Free shipping threshold	Enter the amount without a currency symbol, for example 150.

Search

Motion

Setting	Label	What it does
`animation_level`	Animation	Customers who have asked their device to reduce motion always see the still version.
`image_hover`	Image hover

Currency

Setting	Label	What it does
`currency_code_enabled`	Show currency codes	Displays 100.00 USD instead of $100.00. Useful when you sell in several currencies.
